Job Title: Financial Systems Accountant

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston

Responsibilities:

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts including payroll, loans, tax, creditors, debtors, and other relevant areas.
• Manage reconciliation of electronic payment systems, navigating through a rapidly expanding and complex landscape.
• Oversee fixed asset system management and ensure accurate reconciliation.
• Take charge of P&L reporting for a newly acquired contract, ensuring meticulous financial management.
• Handle payroll journals and effectively manage employee invoices.
• Manage payment runs, processing, and meticulous checking, including ad hoc payments as required.
• Ensure efficient SAP and SharePoint master data management.
• Oversee revenue interface management to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage daily banking operations and float management to optimize cash flow.
• Responsible for bank card management, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial accounting and systems management.
• Proficiency in SAP and SharePoint master data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, AAT) preferred.
• Study support offered for the right candidate.
• Working from home 1 day per week also available after initial bedding in period.
