Financial Planner HNW Clients - Scotland

Salary from £65,000 to £85,000 depending on experience.

Hybrid working

Do you thrive working with high-net-worth clients, with an average of £500,000+ of investable assets? As you will know, most of these clients will have complex financial planning needs and will need someone amazing to look after them. Some of these larger clients will have between 6-7 million. Would you like an existing client bank of this calibre to look after, grow and develop? This U/HNW client bank consists of professionals, business owners, individuals and families, relying on your high-quality financial advice, and the support of great investment services, to preserve and grow their long-term savings and investments. You will be supported by the expertise and insight of a dedicated research team, as well as being aided by paraplanners and administration

As you can imagine, to be successful in this role it’s really important that you are open, warm, able to build bridges, to be part of a team and someone who really likes to network. If you have that entrepreneurial spark… then you’ll also enjoy networking and attracting new clients through business development by building relationships with Affinity Groups, Business Owners, Solicitors and Accountants, by working in collaboration with them on mutual high net worth clients’ inheritance tax planning

Does this describe you?

  • Holistic high net worth Financial Planner, providing financial planning and investment advice to clients
  • Cultivating and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients by tracking their successes, and keeping them informed about any changes that may affect their finances
  • Planning, implementing and executing the annual Business Plan in line with your agreed individual targets, acquiring new clients, growing initial revenues and cumulative AUM
  • Ensuring all periodic client reviews are completed in line with client’s expectations and changing circumstances
  • Remaining compliant - with a focus on Business Quality Assurance, CPD, and maintaining SPS

Your role:

To be considered for this fabulous Financial Planner role, you will need to be:

  • Diploma, or equivalent Level 4, and having or working towards Chartered status
  • Ideally have Pension Transfer experience
  • Excellent relationship developer through networking, leveraging existing contacts, referrals and incremental business from existing clients
  • Ability to deliver a brilliantly holistic client financial planning experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter and a strong team player
