Summary:
Join a small housing association as a Financial Controller to run the day to day of finance, making process improvements and being part of the business culture.

The Client:
This small housing association provides social housing, care homes and supports mothers and children specifically in one part of the organisation. They have plenty to get your teeth stuck into and are open to thoughts, suggestions and ideas to improve the processes and procedures. 

The Role:
  • Implement and monitor financial policies and frameworks.
  • Manage adherence to approvals framework and taxation compliance.
  • Prepare and produce the management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Produce budgets and forecasts and compare actual versus budgets. 
  • Support internal audit procedures and manage the financial system.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on financial processes and procedures.
  • Management of service costs and charges.
  • Responsible for the financial planning using Brixx. 
Successful Candidate:
  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Recent experience of working in a Housing Association. 
  • Reliable and ambitious with a positive solutions based attitude.
