Financial Controller – Scania Financial Services

18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Milton Keynes

Scania Financial Services have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join our team, based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you will be the accounts representative responsible for managing all finance and accounting operations. You are an experienced Financial Controller and people leader, and you will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the Scania Finance Great Britain (SFGB) and Scania Finance Ireland (SFIE) finance and accounting operations. 
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Financial Accounts and Accounting Services team. 
  • Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end close processes, as well as internal and external quarterly financial audits.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Advise, develop, and document processes for the accounting policies and transactions, to maintain and strengthen internal controls. 
  • Manage and ensure compliance with local government reporting requirements, tax filings and deadlines.
