Based: Rochdale area

Salary: up to £70k + bonus + benefits + opportunity for growth

Our client is a growing SME based in the Rochdale area. Reporting into the MD, this role will offer progression to FD within the next 2 years. We are looking for a qualified/QBE Accountant with strong all round hands on finance experience who also wants commercial & strategic exposure at board level

Role:

• Working with the MD in a pivotal role overseeing all aspects of finance for the UK businesses
• Management and control of team, ensuring training & development
• Managing cash flow for the company
• Preparing monthly financial reporting for companies including accruals, prepayments, Stock reconciliations, reconciling sales & purchase ledger
• Responsible for monthly reporting of company performance to Directors and stakeholders
• Liaising with auditors on year end accounts and audit
• Budget preparation and working with Director to assist on pricing/commercial decision making

Experience:

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Accountant OR QBE with proven experience
• Energetic, enthusiastic and keen to gain wide exposure within the business
• Good communication skills and commercial acumen
• Proven experience of management accounts and able to work to tight deadlines
• Good excel skills, able to create and use Excel spreadsheets
