We are on the hunt for an experienced ‘Financial Controller- Operations’ to come and join our Finance team… this could be your opportunity to join the sweet life of HARIBO!

Within this role you will report directly into our ‘Finance Business Partner-Operations’ and work as part of a team of four. To enable HARIBO sugary success, within this role you will provide a clear insight into factory performance, build key relationships within both our finance and factory management teams as well as ensure our business can react quickly to new challenges.

How you’ll contribute to the mix:

• Owning factory fixed costs including; energy, depreciation and labour
• Managing the operational CAPEX process which include; group submission, payback calculations, business cases, pre/post project tracking and the new warehouse build
• Supporting with factory improvement projects including; identifying and tracking operational waste
• Daily production and packing reporting
• Factory KPI reporting; including BDE
• Capacity planning
• Providing support with product costings, the annual standard costing process and works expenses
• Providing a wide range of reporting to support our understanding of business performance
• Developing ways to improve transparency of numbers reported
• Building partnerships with all senior managers and their teams whilst also providing financial support to commercial decision making
• Providing pre and post calculations to aid with business decisions
• Supporting with companywide process changes and improvements
• Carrying out month end actuals, dynamic forecasting, latest business estimates and annual budgets
• Providing a wide range of reporting, variance analysis and bridges to support with understanding of business performance
• Assisting with year-end audits, maintaining involvement with group requests, and completing external reporting where appropriate

Can you supply our essential ingredients?

We are on the hunt for either a CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountant who has experience of working within a large and complex organisation. Do you hit our sweet spot and have experience working within the food manufacturing industry? Don’t worry this isn’t essential, however if you do, we would 100% love to hear from you!

We are looking for an Excel guru who also has top notch analytical skills; do you possess strong attention to detail abilities too? Communication skills are also essential, we are looking for an individual who isn’t fazed communicating to all levels within both our Finance space as well as other areas within the business.

Do you possess good time management skills as well as organisational abilities? We are looking for an individual who is confident managing a busy and varied desk as well as can maintain a positive, professional, and confident manner always.
