This role will be responsible for full P&L analysis, providing relevant insight and formulating strategies to drive performance. Translating the numbers and providing true business partnering across the value chain, as well as transparency and analysis for accurate Group reporting

Client Details

Our client is a well-established business in the Medical Device industry. They work across multiple global locations and are committed to advancing healthcare through pioneering innovation.

Description

  • Responsible for the production and delivery of monthly accounts and supporting papers including delivery of the accounts according to the month end timetable
  • Support with UK overhead analysis and reporting
  • Produce and submit all required balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, with adequate support schedules (accruals, prepayments and deferrals
  • Review the Profit and Loss in detail and present the findings to the CFO and FC on a monthly basis, in line with the month end plan
  • Responsible for the monthly company forecast, and liaising with Group on matters arising
  • Develop, streamline and enhance financial management and reporting processes
  • Play a key role in the annual budgeting process and consolidate the company budget picture
  • Ensure internal controls and systems are effective and efficient, reviewing current systems to determine areas of continual improvement
  • Billing/Cost Recognition and the preparation of contract summary packs

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • Professional Qualification ACA/ACCA or CIMA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
