Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a company based in London that works within the PropTech sector and is looking to expand the team and hire a junior Financial Analyst who has experience with financial Cash Flow modelling & Internal Rate of Return.

The company works in a hybrid way and you will be required in the office 2 days per week (Tuesdays/Wednesdays).

You will find yourself joining a small company of 15, this role will be working on financial modeling, specifically Cash Flow models, including refactoring a cash flow modeling engine that has been in the works for a few years. You will also get involved in coding across the full software development lifecycle so will be utilizing Java and SQL.

If you don’t have Java coding experience don’t be put off as the company will train you up, but the desire to learn it is a must.

Requirements:

- Financial Analyst experience

- Financial modelling experience (cash flows and IRR)

- 1-3 years of experience in banking or investment

- 2:1 or 1st Class Degree (Ideally in Finance / Mathematics / Computer Science)

Desirable:

- Experience in any relevant coding language (Java preferable as learning Java will be a requirement on the job)

- Java or Python coding language experience

- HTML/CSS

- SQL

- React

- REST

- JWT

The salary for this position is up to £50,000 (could be flexible DOE) + discretionary Bonus up to 10% + 25 days holiday + Flexible working hours.
