The business is looking for a Financial Accountant to come in and work directly with the CFO to help drive the business forwards and improve processes. The business has ambitious plans over the next few years, so this is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who is looking to accelerate their career. Description

• Development of internal controls.
• Providing assurance and technical input to information prepared by the department for monthly and annual financial statements, regulatory returns and budgets.
• Support development of FP&A reporting function
• Ad hoc reporting to senior management team
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Being a main port of contact for external auditors
• Working closely with CFO to improve existing processes

Profile

The successful candidate will be fully ACA/ACCA qualified and come from an Accountancy practice background. They will also be able to work autonomously within a fast paced environment. This role will be focusing on the technical side of finance and will be a essential in supporting the FP&A function. This will also be liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the audit process. Experience in financial services, from practice, will be highly beneficial going into this role.
