Description

As a Management Accountant, reporting into the Finance Director you'll be the go-to person for all things finance. From processing invoices to preparing VAT returns, you'll keep our financial engine running smoothly.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Processing purchase and sales invoices with precision and accuracy
• Conducting bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial record
• Making ledger adjustments for general journals and Balance Sheet adjustments
• Preparing monthly BACS payments to ensure timely vendor payments
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns and associated reports to ensure compliance
• Managing monthly payroll processes efficiently and accurately
• Ensuring timely preparation of regulatory returns to meet compliance requirements
• Producing monthly management accounts for insightful decision-making

Profile

Successful candidate;

• Ideally, be AAT-qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Previous experience in managing a team
• Ideally, has experience in Sage 50 however not essential
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel such as Vlookups or Pivot Tables
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commercially focused
