Finance Manager

On an exclusive basis, we are recruiting for a Finance Manager to work with an established brand based in the North Staffordshire area

Duties of the role will include:

• Month End Reporting: Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting to Group Finance in line with the Group Accounting Calendar.

• Key balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Variance analysis: analysing actual performance against forecast and budgeted expectation, presenting results of this analysis to the Financial Controller.

• Preparation of detailed commentaries to the Management team in relation of actual results, forecasts, and budgets.

• Forecasting: leading the forecasting process for the business unit. Working closely with the key stakeholders across the business to update the rolling 12 month forecast monthly.

• Budgeting: leading and working with key stakeholders to compile the annual budget for the business.

• Business partnering the operational team and support functions to drive sustained profitable growth across the business.

• Supporting the business in development of processes and to drive cost down activities.

• Managing a small team of people with day-to-day activities.

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

• Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA

• Experience working in a manufacturing business would be advantageous

• Use of SAP or other similar ERP systems

• Staff management experience or aptitude to manage

• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
