Finance Manager | £50,000 - £65,000 plus bonus & benefits | Family Office | London | Permanent

JasperRose is partnering with a Family Office who are looking for a Finance Manager with a high level of attention to detail to join their small and close-knit team. Based in their Central London office, this permanent role is a unique opportunity for a Qualified/QBE Accountant, looking for a long-term career and organic progression with a family office.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will be responsible for the accounting of the portfolio including overseeing the cash flow within their investments. This is an extremely broad role, and no two days will be the same, the business therefore needs someone who thrives at working in an adaptable and flexible environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for month-end and year-end close of financial statements
  • Management of account reconciliations, general ledger analysis, and annual audits
  • Supporting with cash management and cash flow forecasting
  • Partnering with various stakeholders across the business including the family and administration teams regarding any finance-related matters
  • Working as a main point of contact for external stakeholders including the banks
  • Preparation of investment reports, performance analysis, and benchmarking
  • Preparing accounts for the family’s charity including involvement in the audit and payroll
  • Assisting with both corporation and personal tax
  • Supporting with the implementation of a new accounting software

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will be a qualified or qualified by experience accountant with experience either working in a small business where you have worked directly with the Directors/Founders or previous experience working in a family office. You will have a good understanding of general ledger accounting and will ideally have been exposed to cashflow management and tax. You will have strong Excel skills including pivot tables and v lookups, knowledge of Sage and QuickBooks is also beneficial. You will have the ability to work with confidential information, be confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels and have the desire to take on additional duties as the role organically grows.
