Finance Manager - Knightsbridge - £70,000 to £75,000

My client, a high-end luxury residential property management firm, are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join their team in Knightsbridge.

You will manage the day-to-day accounting function within the business, ensuring there is effective control of the organisation's assets and liabilities and that all processes comply in full with current accounting regulations. You will oversee a team of 3 people and report to the CFO.

Duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury management.
  • Overseeing a team of 3 people within the finance team handling 1-2-1's, goal setting etc.
  • Production of accurate and timely financial information, including monthly and quarterly management accounts and KPI reports (by the 12th of each following month), year-end financial accounts for audit and annual budgets.
  • Analysis and benchmarking of data as directed highlighting key performance metrics, variances, and trends.
  • Ensure all Company financial processes comply fully with accounting regulations and that financial safeguards and controls are in place to deter fraudulent activity.
  • Treasury management.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.
  • Responsible for the preparation of VAT returns and reconciliation and remitting in line with due dates to HM Revenue & Customs.
  • Payroll processing, reconciliation and annual returns of P11d, PSA and other reports.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster their professional development.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of best practice and the effective housekeeping of all documentation ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
  • IT administration and maintenance with assistance from the IT department.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department, leveraging technology and automation where possible.

Experience Required:

  • At least five years' of experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller within property
  • Strong technical skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience using MRI QUBE PM and Microsoft BI desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance, or a professional qualification ACCA / CIMA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, one day per week from home
