Finance Manager

Based: Manchester centre (1-2 days office – you must be based in the North West)

Salary: up to £55k + bonus + benefits including private healthcare, pension

Role:

  • Monthly management accounts production and review
  • Balance sheet reconciliations,
  • Producing budgets & forecasts
  • Responsibility for P&L, cash flow, variance analysis  
  • Assisting wider finance team and Finance Director with ad-hoc projects
  • KPI preparation
  • Assisting with the development of internal controls & procedures
  • Supporting and driving continuous improvement on processes to contribute to improved efficiencies
  • Providing information, guidance and insights to wider business through accurate analysis and financial reporting

Experience:

  • Commercially minded ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant (12 months + post qual)
  • Strong understanding of month end process & management accounts production
  • Driven to improve business processes
  • Experience working within an SME environment, Tech beneficial but not essential
  • Experience on Excel & accounting systems
