Based: Bolton
Salary: up to £55k + bonus + benefits + progression
My client are a rapidly expanding, fast paced SME who have experienced impressive growth over the last few years and continue to do so on the next phase of their growth plans forecasting 100% growth by 2027.
They are looking for a highly motivated leader to lead our finance team of six who provide finance support to over 40 depots across the country. The finance team are responsible for processing finance transactions in the business including payroll, purchase ledger and treasury management activities.
Role:
- Management and leadership of the finance team
- Develop and implement process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Liaise with senior managers to implement process and systems improvements
- Manage and control the bank reconciliations process on a daily and weekly basis
- Manage and develop the payroll process alongside the payroll administrator
- Manage the purchase ledger process, ensuring robust controls over the processing and payment of invoices and providing visibility of payment schedules to enable reliable cashflow forecasting.
- Work closely with the FP&A team and other senior managers to assist with robust cashflow forecasting and budgeting process
- Assist in the production of weekly and monthly internal control and compliance reports for
Experience:
- Good technical skills with an ability to improve processes and functionality
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Positive and proactive approach to personal development
- Works positively with others
- Confident with IT, especially Excel. SAP experience would be advantageous
