Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic team on a permanent basis in Stockton-on-Tees. This pivotal role reports directly to the Finance Director and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Ledger Management: Take full ownership and responsibility for the sales ledgers and credit control, including overseeing the credit control function.
• Purchase Ledger Management: Manage the purchase ledgers, ensuring efficient and effective management of the purchase ledger function.
• Financial Reporting: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on sales ledger, purchase ledger, and cash flow, in collaboration with the Treasury department and senior management.
• Process Improvement: Lead the management, development, and continuous enhancement of all processes, workflows, and resources to maximise cash inflow and manage cash outflow.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: At least 10 years in a similar role (Finance Manager, Sales Ledger Manager, or Purchase Ledger Manager), with a proven track record of enhancing working capital.
• Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Xero Accounts system is preferred, though training is available.
