Finance Manager - Interim with potential for permanent

Broster Buchanan are delighted to present a varied interim opportunity for a manufacturing business based in Rutland.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the No1 in finance across a broad base of duties as the business enters a business period (year end, ERP upgrade, increased business volume etc).
 
The position is perfect for a Finance Manager who enjoys all areas of finance and can quickly build rapport with the wider finance team and senior stakeholders
 
 
Key duties include:
 
- Support transactional staff with weekly review of account progress.
- Support delivery of year end accounts, corporation tax computation and audit.
- Manage the monthly management accounts and sales reporting cycle.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Analyse overhead variances monthly and provide insights to support commercial decisions.
- Year-end stock take 
- Support team members in process improvement initiatives
- KPI  creation and analysis  i.e. aged debt, vendor prepayment level, stock days etc.
- Support on new ERP project with master data cleanse, UAT and new processes adoption.
 
Suitable applicants will likely be qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, however consideration will be given to those with relevant experience.
