Talentedge are proud to be exclusively partnering with a marketplace scaleup who have an embedded finance proposition as part of the product offering on a newly created Finance Director / Lead opportunity.

With a hugely impressive leadership team in place and being backed by Tier 1 investors, this is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the next big scaleup coming out of London who put ESG at the very core of what they do!

Working very closely with an impressive CFO (former top tier investment banker who made the transition into growth tech around 3 years ago), you will have ownership over all things finance including continuing to build a world-class finance function who are capable of supporting aggressive international and domestic growth plans.

Key responsibilities:

• Evolve & automate existing processes
• Prepare consolidated monthly management and annual statutory accounts
• Turn data generated into meaningful insights to support business decision making
• Lead on company FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering and KPI analysis
• Support CFO on future funding rounds
• Develop and mentor the finance team

Profile:

• Qualified accountant
• High growth tech experience (scaleup + early stage scrappy), ideally with lots of complex payment flows
• Hands on, broad experience – Someone who has evolved and automated finance processes
• Established business partner who is comfortable advising, managing and challenging senior stakeholders
• Smart, ambitious and progressive - Willing to learn and develop
• Strong analytical and data skills with advanced Excel
• Xero + wider ecosystem of apps exposure
