Finance Controller
A 24-Hour multi-service repair centre/workshop based in Grays, Essex, known as reliable professionals with over 25 years of experience is looking for a Finance Controller to join their team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure general bookkeeping is completed in a timely manner
- Monthly reporting
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Cash flow management and forecasts.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns, dealing with HMRC queries
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Data entry using various Quickbooks
- Credit control.
- Prepare end of year
- Prepare wages and present monthly report to payroll team for presentation to inland revenue
- Ad hoc tasks as required
- Must have previous Finance controller experience
- Must know how to use Quickbooks
- Competent with Microsoft, most importantly Excel.
- Excellent organisation, administration and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and working to very high standards.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and provide insight on financial reports.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise tasks as well as working to deadlines.
- Able to work as a part of a team and to act on own initiative.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Started or completed a CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent bookkeeping/accounting qualifications.

- Salary range: £16 Per Hour
