Finance Business Partner

Robert Half are working alongside a well established client of ours in their recruitment of a Finance Business Partner on a permanent contract. The role will be responsible for providing financial insight and analysis to ensure that MI provided to stakeholders across the business is of the highest quality. It's a pure "value-add" role and the successful candidate will be required to decipher numbers through analysis to offer up meaningful insight to inform decision making.

The salary on offer is up to c£65,000 (DOE) + a compelling benefits package. Hybrid working is supported with a work from home / office split.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and analytical insight in regards to budgeting, forecasts, business performance, and management accounts
• Own the annual & bi-annual budgeting process
• Own & prepare monthly forecasting reports to be presented
• Analysis of month end accounts vs forecasts to identify any issues and subsequently root cause analysis
• Drive reporting & process improvements of the MI
• Identify risks & opportunities and present suggestions to non-finance stakeholders
• Provide advice on financial and commercial topics
• Line management of a small team
• Provide commercial support in regards to pricing, bids / tenders

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Strong Excel capability
• Prior FP&A / business partnering experience is essential - must be able to demonstrate and give examples of where you have had to present your analysis, challenge and drive any change / suggestions
• Strong interpersonally
• Be a team player and have a passion for process improvements
