Our client is seeking a detail orientated and organised individual to join their team as an Account Administrator. This role will be considered as full time or part time (minimum of 32 hours per week).

As an Account Administrator you will be responsible for managing financial transactions maintaining accurate records and assisting with various accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.

The applicant would be overseen by the existing Finance Manager with a view to assist with the workload and share some of the tasks such as purchase ledger, pay roll, CIS returns and monthly supplier statement analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare account payable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as Sage
  • Generate financial reports
  • Provide general support to the finance team

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • 2 years in accounting or bookkeeping
