This unique London based not for profit organisation is looking to recruit a finance assistant, to support their finance processing team with a broad range of transactional activities including purchase ledger, sales ledger, related reconciliations, expenses and payment runs.

Your daily duties will include:

  • The first point of contact in the finance team for all income and payment queries within the organisation.
  • Process purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
  • Process staff and volunteer expenses ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
  • Set up payment runs, ensuring every invoice has been processed accurately, into the correct cost centre and authorised in line with the delegated authority.
  • Support with the reconciliations of the creditor accounts; investigate and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Support with sales ledger invoice processing, produce monthly statements of debtor accounts.

The successful candidate will be an experienced finance assistant with good attention to detail, providing accounting support within an accounts payable and receivable environment. It is imperative that you have strong interpersonal and communication with the ability to support and communicate with key stakeholders within the organisation.

It would suit and individual that is looking to progress and build a career with finance, and you possess some transferable knowledge, skills and experience for this opportunity.
