Reed Accountancy are representing a leading manufacturing company in Teesside, who are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. 

You will be required to undertake invoicing, credit control and reconciliation duties for a busy finance department.

  • Inputting, matching, and coding purchase invoices.
  • Processing payments
  • Reconciling supplier payments.
  • Credit control
  • Accounts Receivable and send statements.
  • Cash forecasting
  • Resolve all customer billing queries working with sales colleagues to investigate all requests for credit notes.
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Manage finance emails.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.



Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in finance clerical roles
  • Experience of dealing with large volumes of data and financial information
  • Good knowledge of Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent numerical skill and attention to detail
  • An ability to use initiative and to work independently
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Responsible and Well Organised



Desirable

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable preferred
  • Level 3 AAT qualification or above with prior commercial experience supporting a finance / accounts team preferred
  • A good understanding of Credit Control as well as knowledge of Sales, Purchase & General Ledger preferred.
