Finance Assistant

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a prestigious property management business based in Central Birmingham who are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team. The Company manages high value properties both commercial and residential clients.

The successful candidate would be someone who has a genuine passion for real estate coupled with a progressive outlook in regards to their career. This is a key role within the company that will require someone who has worked with clients on a day-to-day basis; managing high profile portfolio's and reporting important information to senior stakeholders within the business, raising invoices, allocating cash, month end reconciliations, setting up clients, resolving queries and working closely with other departments.

Ideally, you will:

• Be currently studying AAT/ACCA or CIMA with intentions to complete your studies in the near future
• Have a strong background as a either an Accounts Assistant, Sales Ledger or Treasury Assistant (ideal if you have experience in professional services / property)
• Possess strong excel skills allowing for quick and efficient interpretation of complex data sets
• Have excellent attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and a strong personality (the ability to deliver excellent service to internal stakeholders/management and external clients alike is a key factor in the success of this role)
