Aila is excited to be partnered with a leading, listed, and global retail business in Central London on the recruitment of a Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis.

We’re looking for an ACCA/CIMA part-qualified Finance Analyst who is a driven and self-motivated individual, who can interact with all areas of the business, to build accurate budgets, forecasts and produce timely, relevant analysis to facilitate the decision-making process. This role is working across a global and well-known brand within their portfolio and one of the fastest growing brands in the UK.

As Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for the planning, analysis and reporting for the Wholesale & Distributor markets. You will work closely with the sales teams to support in setting robust plans and forecasts by season and financial year, and highlight areas of risk and opportunity for the Head of FP&A.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the preparation of the Annual Brand Plan, covering the Wholesale, Distributor and subsequent forecast updates
  • Report on business performance through Brand reporting packs
  • Work closely with the Senior Financial Analyst to develop consistent Brand and Channel reporting
  • Challenge Brand Management and facilitate informed decision making to drive the business forward
  • Support Sales Directors, Merchandise, Product, Demand & Supply teams, and the Head of FP&A to execute Brand Plan
  • Review the sales and orderbook on a periodic basis providing appropriate challenge, where necessary
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as required to meet with business needs
  • Work closely with FP&A Manager to develop consistent reporting across wholesale
  • Fully exploit the BI and tableau tools for use within EMEA and Globally

To be successful in this role, you will be a Part Qualified/ Finalist level Finance Analyst with experience in a fast-paced FP&A environment and a desire to join an exciting and forward thinking brand as they continue to scale at pace.
