Finance Administrator
Manchester, M22 5LH

  • Full time (09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday), permanent
  • £27,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role required

Holidays:

  • 28 days per year
  • After 3 years of continuous service, you will receive your birthday off (day off can be taken within 7 days of your birthday)

About the role:

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining company ledgers
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensuring invoices & purchase orders are processed and sent out accurately and efficiently
  • Accurately recording payments
  • Processing batch payments
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Communication with debtors to ensure payment is within terms
  • Additional admin duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

Skills & Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience with Xero is preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
  • Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular – Outlook & Excel
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to react quickly to tasks in an efficient way whilst having outstanding attention to detail
  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude
