Client Information:

My client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join there team in Austria, who can support their customers with current and future installed tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
  • Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
  • Assures operational quality of system equipment.
  • Coordinates actions with customers to minimize down time.
  • May provide assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and solve problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems to address on site customer problems.
  • Experience working on electronic systems within semiconductor equipment: Etch, Lithography, Deposition, Photolithography etc.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of engaging empathetically with customers, ensuring a positive experience, while fostering a collaborative environment to address their needs and concerns.
  • Driven to be hands-on and passionate about learning new things Proactive communication that facilitates seamless collaboration and address customer requirements effectively.
  • Fluent in English and German language is essential.
  • Full driver's license
