An incredible opportunity for a Field Service Engineer has arisen with this pioneering company. At the forefront of their industry, they are renowned for their high technology equipment used in medical diagnostics and life sciences. They need a permanent Field Service Engineer to support their customers across the UK and Europe.
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation and set-up of their scientific equipment in locations across the UK and Europe. They have systems installed in over 30 countries globally, covering almost every continent. The travel involved will be roughly 150 days per year (half UK, half Europe), and when not travelling you will be based from home. As Field Service Engineer the role will also involve:
- Installation and calibration of scientific equipment;
- Providing training to customers across the EMEAR region;
- Conducting validation, quality control and troubleshooting activities on systems;
- Managing your own diary and travel, along with creating and maintaining all relevant documentation.
The Candidate: Field Service Engineer
You will be willing to travel across the world, and will also:
- Have previous experience in a field service position and happy to travel to customer sites.
- Have worked with complex electro-mechanical equipment or laboratory equipment.
- Be flexible, self-confident and happy to work alone on occasion.
- Be organised and disciplined, ensuring no shortcuts are taken to ensure product integrity.
- Excellent communication skills.
Based from home, you can live anywhere in the South of England.
