Business Development Manager - Pallet Pooling/FMCG Logistics

The COMPANY
Established for over a century our client is one of Europe's leading pallet pooling service providers working throughout the FMCG industry. Operating a circular re-use system for high-quality pallets and boxes working extensively with well-known brands, producers, and retailers. We are proud to be an integral part of their ongoing expansion, providing them with suitable & talented staff to complement their outstanding existing team.

The ROLE

Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Business Development Manager to join their team. Covering the UK the role is a mix of Account Management (you will be given several significant accounts to manage) and new business development.

The CANDIDATE

The successful Business Development Manager (allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation) candidate will possess;
* Strong sales skills
* Considerable experience within the FMCG supply chain
* Good IT skills
* Live within a commutable distance of Coventry
* Full driving license

Salary: c.£40K Basic, £9K car allowance, Commission (up to £40K)

Location: Office is based in Coventry which you are likely to visit on a weekly basis
