Field Installation Engineer

£13.00 to £15.00 per hour plus overtime rates after 40 hours

Our client in Cambridgeshire is looking for highly skilled & motivated Field Installation Engineer to join their team to install a range of Server Racks, Network Cabinets and other bespoke systems across the United Kingdom & Worldwide.

The Field Installation Engineer will be:

  • Ensuring company products and equipment is installed to an excellent standard.
  • Providing excellent customer service when out on site and communicating fully with the support team regarding the progress of the install
  • Being a trusted member of the team by working with minimal day to day supervision
  • Incorporating a flexible approach to hours and travel worldwide to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensuring company health and safety guidelines are followed and wearing the correct PPE.
  • Ensuring company vehicles are operated in a safe manner and driver checks are carried out.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications for the Field Installation Engineer:

  • Previous experience within a similar role working in an industrial environment essential
  • Ability to read technical drawings and site plans desirable, but full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work using your initiative with complex bespoke designs.
  • CSCS Cards desirable.
  • IPAF / PASMA desirable, but full training will be provided.
  • Ability to carry out a physically demanding role.
  • Full Driving licence required.
  • DBS Check - depending on customer requirements.
  • Passport required, as regular foreign travel.

Hours of work Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm
