St Thomas More is a good school (Ofsted 2022) committed to high standards of growth and professional development. The school is popular - always oversubscribed beyond our admission limit - and well respected in the local community. We are a successful school with a large sixth form located near Willenhall, with easy access to the M6 motorway network.

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated girls PE teacher to join a successful team of staff. An ability to lead girls' football would be desirable.

You should:

* Demonstrate consistently good or outstanding classroom practice.
* Be a passionate advocate of the subject, who contributes effectively to the department and whole school improvement plans.
* Able to teach across the full age and ability range at age 11-16 and A Level.
* Be eager to become a supportive Form Tutor.
* Be able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school.
* Have high expectations of self and others.
* Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be flexible and a good team player.
* Candidate ability to teach a second subject will be discussed at interview.
