Step into a pivotal role within a dynamic family law team situated in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, with a market leading competitive salary. This position is ideal for a meticulous and proactive Family Paralegal, eager to enhance their legal career within a supportive and thriving environment.

The successful candidate will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the smooth operation of the legal team. These tasks include the precise handling and downloading of dictation onto the ALB Case Management System, efficient email management, and the diligent maintenance of court diaries, ensuring all hearings and key dates are accurately recorded for assigned Fee Earners.

Furthermore, the role demands a keen eye for detail in time recording, along with providing comprehensive administrative support. This encompasses the preparation of bundles, scanning documents, meticulous checking of transcribed letters, and formatting. Organisational skills are paramount, as saving emails and documents onto the firm's case management system must be executed in a manner that allows for swift and efficient retrieval.

Communication skills are essential, as the role involves liaising with courts and police stations for updates, coordinating prison visits, and arranging appointments in various settings, including offices, prisons, and hospitals. Court attendance may also be required.

Document management is another key aspect, ensuring all letters sent for transcription are checked and managed appropriately.

Candidates should possess a robust understanding of family law procedures, exhibit strong organisational and administrative abilities, and have experience in a similar role. Proficiency in using case management systems, particularly ALB, is highly advantageous.
