EYFS Class Teacher

Location: Chadderton, Oldham

Salary Scale:  ££30000- £41333 per annum

Start Date: September - Permanent

GSL Education is presently in search of an enthusiastic and competent EYFS Class Teacher to become part of our client school in Chadderton, Oldham. This presents an exhilarating chance to motivate and support young learners during their formative years of education.

EYFS Class Teacher Role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that meet the needs of all learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages children to explore, discover and learn through play.
  • Implementing a child-cantered approach to teaching and learning, taking into account each child's interests, abilities and learning styles.
  • Providing regular assessment and feedback to monitor children's progress and identify areas for development.
  • Collaborating with parents/guardians and other staff members to support children's holistic development and well-being.
  • Promoting positive behaviour management strategies and fostering a culture of respect, kindness, and inclusivity within the classroom.

The successful candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • A strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy, including the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians and colleagues.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and a passion for working with young children.
  • The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to reflective practice.
