Experienced TA, SEN

At Engage, we have specialised in providing quality support staff for over 10 years. Now, we are working with a small rural school, in Tunbridge Wells, who is in need of a fantastic learning assistant to work within a Christian school. The school are in need of an experienced practitioner, who has worked alongside various SEN needs

The school itself prides itself on its warm, family based atmosphere with its core values underpinning everything to ensure the children realise their aspirations and to aim high and achieve whether it be in the academic field, sport or the arts. Due to the rural location, your own means of transportation is a must but means the school is surrounded by natural beauty with the classrooms well-resourced and spacious, with each having access to the gardens and outside area!

The ideal applicant will:
  • Be resilient, and handle difficult situations well

  • Have confidence in supporting children with a range of complex needs

  • Have experience in SEND, Autism, ADHD, SLD, SEMH

  • Be adaptable, innovative, and creative in their approach

  • Clear passion for learning and strive to support children aiding a better life

About the school:

This is a caring and supportive setting where pupils will have a variety of needs. Pupils will have complex SEMH and possibly severe anxiety, personality disorders, depression, or trauma related mental health needs. You will work closely as a team to provide appropriate care for these children.
