Do you want to use your experience producing and managing outdoor events in an exciting Events Manager role that offers hybrid working and the chance to make an impact in an industry leading business?

A leading membership organisation that operates internationally are looking for an Events Manager to be responsible for managing and organising engaging all aspects of various outdoor events including primarily pop-ups.  Your role will encompass the provision of third party contractors / vendors, sponsors, and assets, as well as budget management, managing logistics and problem solving any issues.  Internally you will work with teams on Health & Safety (as well as externally working with Safety Advisory Groups) and contracts, and take the lead on related sustainability issues.  

As Events Manager, your new role will involve:
  • Taking the lead in producing and delivering projects - managing schedules, resources and timelines
  • Producing safety plans and assessments, working with Safety Advisory Groups and Health & Safety internally
  • Developing relationships with partners and sponsors 
  • Managing budgets, negotiating with suppliers and selecting relevant contractors
  • Liaising with venues and sites to ensure the highest standard of delivery
  • Taking the lead on related sustainability
  • Researching and developing new revenue opportunities  

I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as an Events Manager, Executive, Production Manager; or Event Manager, and who have proven experience in outdoor events (such as pop-ups, festivals) in a commercial and customer-centric acquisition environment.  I am also looking for experience in contract management, relevant sustainability issues, budget management and relationship management.

You will need to have a full UK driving license for this role as there will be the need to travel to sites on occasions.

Salary for this opportunity is c. £37,000 to £40,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).
