Main Purpose of Role

The Key Opinion Leader Engagement Coordinator wil work within the commercial team ane be responsible for organising and coordinating key events / programmes (symposiums, training days, exhibitions) that allow key clincal users of respiratory diagnostics equipment to engage with the brand and position our clinet as provider of choice. The role involves woking towards events in the UK and Europe and potentially furter afield. In additon to organisation and maagment of event planning the role will involve copyediting / workig on team material and reports, supporting in contract negotiation and invoicing and genral management of activities to ensure successful events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing key programs and activities, including the accredited speaker programs, voice of customer activities and presentation at tradeshows.

  • Monitor email boxes for the above programs and oversee communications with attendees
  • Be a guide for attendees, KOLs and staff to ensure smooth running of all programs
  • Evaluate programs
  • Work with KOL manager and marketing to identify needs and recommend improvements
  • Measure and track success and growth of programs (tracking, attendance)
  • Work with Marketing to ensure programs and contests are promoted to the customers
  • General Support
  • Answer escalated questions education programs as a subject matter expert
  • Organize meetings, provide agendas, and set up general meeting requirements as requested by the KOL Manager
  • Be the key liaison with Marketing and communications teams for the promotion of activities
  • Work with internal teams to update content, including webpages, educational content, and materials on sharepoint site
  • Support general project timeline management for the KOL Managers team

Essential Skills/Qualifications

3+ years expericne working within Events Management / Event planning gained within a Medical, Scientific, Life Science, Pharmaceutical or relevan background.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Planner, etc.) and related business and communication tools (Zoom)
  • Willingness and ability to attend off site meetings and work with an international team
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multitask
  • Ability to problem-solve and work with multiple cultures
  • Possess excellent customer approach
  • Ability to maintain and follow business processes, while adhering to strict project timelines
  • Willingness to learn about and acclimate to Toastmasters International culture and policies
  • Some international travel may be required
