This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Coordinator / Officer to join a professional membership body to help deliver a portfolio of events. This extremely friendly, professional, and relaxed membership organisation with a great culture and a family feel which encourages everyone to be the best they can be!

Key responsibilities:
• Manage and deliver as series of conferences and events
• Assist the team in delivering the highest quality international in-person events, focusing on sponsor contract delivery and coordination of social venue contracts.
• To create detailed event plans to include timelines, and the coordination of these across departments.
• Maintain budgets for events.
• Work closely with the Marketing Team who are responsible for driving demand and work closely with other departments who are invested in the success of the events.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders to support event creation and delivery.
• Create new and build on existing relationships with sponsors, partner organisations and suppliers to obtain maximum value for money, revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
• Measure and report upon event performance.
• Build and maintain events on the registration platform (CVENT) and to coordinate events on the virtual platform (Zoom), when required.

Skills and Experience required:
• Experience in a similar events role
• Virtual event experience
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good organisation and project management skills
• Good understanding of web event delivery
• First class communication skills
• Desire to make a difference within a small, friendly team, developing good diplomatic working relationships with colleagues, members and external partners
• Attention to detail, with a calm and methodical approach
• Ability to balance competing priorities and events simultaneously
• Strong administration skills
• Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure, without sacrificing quality
