An exciting opportunity for an experienced events person to lead a dedicated in-house events team within a fast-growing successful distribution business for a 9-12 month period to cover maternity.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Managers to ensure all events and exhibitions are well planned and professionally executed, supporting the company values and showcasing their products in the best way possible.

Events and Demonstrations Team Lead - About The Role

Opportunity for a highly organised individual with a creative mindset and previous experience of working in events and in a supervisory role.

  • Lead and develop Demonstrator Team under Marketing Management's guidance, involving recruitment, system administration, payroll, and communications
  • Manage Demonstrator Team's attendance at events, managing travel, expenses, and payments.
  • Responsibility for the annual marketing events calendar
  • Manage event planning, preparation, execution, and post-event analysis
  • Monitor and manage individual event budgets, invoicing, and financial management
  • Support live events operation, troubleshooting on day of the event, and conduct post-event evaluation
  • Track event budget and spend
  • Maintain ownership of individual event budgets, invoicing, and financial management

The successful Events and Demonstrations Team Lead will have:

  • Previous experience of working in events is essential and ideally supervisory/line management
  • Experience of using a CRM/Events management system is desirable
  • Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work and able to adapt quickly to changing demands
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Publisher
