Search Consultancy are working in partnership with a principal contractor who are looking for an estimator to join their current estimating team on a permanent basis. This company is well established within the construction industry and specialise in build and refurbishment projects.

This role will be office based and the successful candidate will be estimating the costs for the project, products and services, reporting to the estimating manager and working in collaboration with the on-site project manager providing the reports and quotations for each individual phase of the projects.
Responsibilities:
* Proven experience of undertaking the following tasks;
o Preparing reports for project manager.
o Gathering and submitting quotations.
o Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour and equipment.
o Monitoring the costs at different stages of a project to ensure within estimated costs.
o Attention to detail and analytical skills.
What we are looking for:
* A candidate who wants to be progressive and ambitious within the business.
* An experienced estimator who has been working for a principal contractor.
* A candidate who can use causeway/ conquest.
This is a permanent position available with the salary between £40k - 60k, which is negotiable upon experience with both a £4,800 car allowance and a 5% pension contribution. This position includes 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays.
