Job Title: Estimator - Primary Contractor

Location: Shenstone - B74

Salary: Negotiable - £35,000 - £40,000

Job Description:

We are seeking an Estimator to join our team in Lichfield. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in surveying or estimating, but it is not required if you have some previous experience in estimating. You can be currently studying and be on day release with this role too.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Estimator. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and assisting the lead or senior estimator in calculating the cost of labor or materials that is required for a construction project or any other type of manufacturing project.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of estimates and cost plans
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Preparation of bills of quantities
  • Preparation of valuations
  • Preparation of final accounts
  • Preparation of cost reports
  • Preparation of cash flow forecasts
  • Preparation of risk assessments

Requirements:

  • University degree in surveying or estimating (desired)
  • Previous experience in estimating (desired)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
