A great opportunity to become a Lettings Manager joining a successful, independent, forward thinking estate agency with an established property portfolio.

The successful Lettings Manager will be well presented, experienced within the industry, possibly Propertymark qualified and have the ability to lead an experienced team. You will be hardworking, enthusiastic, reliable and approachable. You must be a good communicator, willing to learn and able to win business using a persuasive and professional approach.

The Lettings Manager will have worked in residential lettings and be confident dealing with a wide array of people.

This role will include all aspects of Lettings Management including, valuations, building relationships by liaising with potential landlords and tenants, growing the department through providing exceptional levels of service, staff training and ensuring the company is presented in the best possible light. You will be pro-active in self-promotion and marketing and provide excellent customer service. The aim is to progress the department and maintain clients-for-life business. A driving licence is required.

Experience Needed

  • Previous lettings experience is essential
  • You will be a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills
  • Negotiation skills are key and you will be well-spoken and well-presented
  • You will be target driven and ambitious
  • Excellent organisation skills and punctuality
  • Keeping up to date with Lettings Regulations
  • Using own initiative to generate new business, through canvassing and other avenues.
  • Managing the lettings team, including coaching, training and mentoring.
