ERP Application Support Analyst - Hybrid WFH / Maidstone Kent
Circ £40,000 £45,000

An exciting opportunity has become available for an ERP Application Support Analyst (Software Support Analyst) to join a small highly skilled team. The ERP Application Support Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients current IFS 9 application as well as getting involved in the project to upgrade to the latest IFS Cloud solution. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with an ERP Applications Manager that is keen to mentor, develop and upskill someone who has experience supporting an ERP system and that’s passionate about providing outstanding service to the user community. The core function of the position is split approx. 50/50 between day-to-day support and project related work. Support consists of system admin tasks and responding to requests which range from helping to login, providing access & permissions, adding / removing users, analysing error logs, debugging code, system training, user induction, running reports etc. Project work is varied and deals with any enhancements, changes, improvements and upgrades that will invariably involve co-ordinating with development teams, testing, documentation, training etc. The client has multiple sites across Kent and other parts of England. This is a hybrid WFH & Site based role where the post holder can be based from offices in Aylesford / Maidstone or Canterbury. There will be a need to visit other sites from time to time so it's important the post holder has a driving licence and use of own vehicle (pool cars can be used to visit other sites and any business travel / subsistence will be reimbursed).

To be suited for the role it’ll be expected you can tick of most if not all of the following;

  • Previous experience supporting ERP systems (IFS would be great but any other ERP system such as MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle Netsuite, JD Edwards World or OneWorld, Epicore, Infor M3, Infor Cloud, Navsion, COINS etc would be fine)
  • Good troubleshooting skills - the ability to identify and resolve issues in the ERP system, including analysing error logs, debugging code and performing system diagnostics.
  • SQL skills to run query’s (ideally PL/SQL but SQL, T-SQL is fine).
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focused attitude. You’ll be passionate about user support and engaging with a diverse user community.
  • Have an analytical and logical mindset - able to analyse complex problems, break them down into smaller components and identify patterns or trends.
  • Excellent Time Management - able to prioritise tasks, manage multiple support requests simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, issues and resolutions.

Our client can offer a salary in the region of £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and a good benefits package that includes an excellent pension scheme, budget for training and development and 25 days leave (+bank holidays).
