We are currently seeking a Equipment Coordinator to join our reputable client at their offices near East Grinstead. Please note this is a fully office-based role & own transport is essential due to location.

The Role:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, proactively addressing customer needs and demonstrating strong industry knowledge.
  • Efficiently handle all requests/off-hire for plant, tools, and vehicles throughout the entire hire cycle.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers to address queries effectively and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Effectively manage cross-hire and re-hire, working closely with our supply chain to ensure optimal value and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment maintenance and repairs are promptly addressed, maintaining high asset functionality and utilization rates.
  • Conduct periodic stock takes for equipment and consumables, and assist in managing the purchase of new stock.
  • Coordinate collection and delivery schedules.
  • Support the Hire Manager with additional duties as required.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets, actively participating in meetings and providing suggestions for improvement..

The Person:
  • Proactive and confident communicator via phone & email
  • Strong self-organisation is key as well as previous experience coordinating equipment/workforce to project deadlines
  • Proficient user of IT Packages including MS Word/Excel & use of inhouse CRMs
  • Flexible and "get-stuck-in" work approach, willing to assist where needed to ensure smooth operations.

The Package:
  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (1hour lunch)
  • £26,000 - £30,000pa DOE
