English & Maths Graduates - Oldham

Have you thought about working in a school, but didn't think you had the knowledge or experience? Then you should join Tradewind and take the opportunity to attend a TA school which is designed to cover all the basic knowledge you will need to work in a school.

We are looking for any type of graduates, particularly English or Maths graduates, who are looking to start a career working in education.

As a TA, you could be delivering interventions to accelerate learning, narrow gaps in knowledge, and work with the class teacher to ensure learning is accessible to all pupils.

With the delivery of maths and literacy boosters being the key to academic support, many schools are recruiting for graduates and experienced TAs to help raise attainment. We have several short-term, long-term, and day to day TA opportunities across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and would love to speak to individuals with a fantastic attitude to work who are able to travel around the Oldham area.

We work with several schools across Oldham, including those in Chadderton, Royton, Shaw, and Saddleworth. Whatever suits your availability, needs and skills - if you can travel to any of these areas and are available this academic year, please get in touch!

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

Have a degree related to English, Mathematics, or any core subject degree.

Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained.

Have the legal right to work in the UK.
