Engineering Project Manager Guildford Circa £80k

Progressive Engineering and a Green Energy Engineering Innovator are looking to recruit a Engineering Project Manager for their HQ near Guilford, owing to business growth & project pipeline for 2024-27+.

Based near Guildford and reporting into the Head of Projects, the Engineering Project Manager will lead key projects from the procurement, construction and completion phases taking responsibility for Health and Safety, Time and Budget deliverables of their Projects.

The Engineering Project Manager will lead project teams of Engineering & Construction Staff through the full project lifecycle in the design, delivery & construction of both new Process Sites & upgrades existing assets, involving multiple engineering disciplines (civils, electrical, mechanical, process, electrical and automation) to deliver the projects.

Managing multiple "multiphase" projects at any one time, the Engineering Project Manager will be involved in the construction project (planning > design > procurement > construction > commissioning > handover & operations) and due to the rapid expansion of the business, the Project Manager will need to demonstrate a flexible & agile approach to reflect the needs of an fast-growing business.

Specifically, the Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Design & Procurement Phase Management
• Construction Phase Management
• Health & Safety

My client is looking for a Engineering Project Manager with the following Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Process Engineering)
• Ideally holds Chartered Engineer Status and/or project body accreditation APMP / Prince 2 Practitioner etc
• Demonstrable experience of successful delivering Engineering Process or Construction Projects through the full project lifecycle, to time, cost & budget
• Experience of delivering Construction, Infrastructure, Process Engineering, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Utilities, Water or Process-related Projects
• Experience working as a Main Contractor or Consultant
• Prior experience of leading a team of Project Engineers, Engineers, Support Staff and Contract Construction Supervisors.
• Prior experience of managing a portfolio of projects, executing the delivery with multiple contractors.
• Prior experience of setting up and managing Engineering Construction Contracts (NEC / NEC 4 / JCT etc).

For the successful Engineering Project Manager, a salary up to £80,000 and package and this Engineering Project Manager role is commutable from Guildford, Farnborough, Woking, Witley, Horsham, Redhill, Bagshot, Cranleigh, Godalming, Leatherhead, Chertsey, Reigate, Farnham & Hook (and this client does offer both hybrid and remote working).

Please Note - This Engineering Project Manager Role will require the Engineering Project Manager to travel for Site Visits & Commissioning Activities, so UK Travel is required for this Engineering Project Manager role.
