Engineering Manager SaaS

Engineering Manager (SaaS) Amsterdam / WFH to €110,000

Do you have strong software engineering skills combined with experience of managing high achieving, cross functional engineering teams?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, impactful role for a scaling SaaS tech company that produce a range of solutions for travel agents across the globe, including real-time booking systems and payments processing.

As an Engineering Manager you'll manage a newly established team of around ten people, including software and web engineers, product and UI/UX. You will oversee the entire software development lifecycle from planning and design to implementation, testing and maintenance, providing technical guidance and mentoring and promoting a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

You'll stay up to date with new and emerging technologies, software best practices and trends, introducing them to the stack where appropriate in collaboration with the Head of Engineering and other teams' Engineering Managers.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in Central Amsterdam in fantastic offices with rooftop garden, and have flexibility to work from home twice a week.

About you:

• You have experience of leading high performing, cross functional teams, creating team culture
• You have a strong technical background - the tech stack is AWS, Ruby, microservices, NoSQL databases, Kafka, RabbitMQ, TypeScript and React
• You have experience of working on scalable, distributed B2B SaaS platforms
• You have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
• You have coaching and mentoring experience, you're able to bring the best out in people and help them develop their professional skills
• You have fluent English language
