As Engineering Director you will be responsible for running and maintaining multiple projects at a time, steering them through all stages of the product, process and building engineering, producing cutting edge products that can be manufactured right first time, every time at the required output rate and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the development of existing and new products.
• Lead the development of existing and new manufacturing processes and tools.
• Manage design activities relating to product specification, design for manufacture, production and installation of modular components within Stelling Properties developments.
• Establish and manage a systematic company-wide approach towards design optimization.
• Manage a comprehensive project design library and the client brief.
• Enhance Design for Manufacture within modules and ancillary components to ensure efficiency of production and quality.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
• An excellent first principles engineer with great mental dexterity.
• A proven design professional with a demonstrable track record of working within projects from acquisition through to completion.
• Varied experience across a range projects and disciplines, able to show curiosity and breadth of knowledge.
• Instinctive, effortless and detailed understanding of the structural, thermal and acoustic performance of different materials and structures/shapes
• Knowledge of manufacturing and building techniques and tools
