Project Buyer required. Our client is a well-established and growing electronics manufacturer based in Rubery, Birmingham who supply the automotive markets. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Project Buyer to join the team.

Project Buyer Position Overview
  • Purchasing of materials and components accordance with specified quality and delivery requirements.
  • Liaising with other departments and suppliers for all matters related to procurement
  • Working with suppliers to identify performance improvements.
  • Attend Project meetings as and when required
  • Liaise closely with the engineering team and creating BOMs
  • Prepare purchase orders
Project Buyer Position Requirements
  • Proven background within a procurement role, in an engineering, automotive or electronics industry
  • Based in a commutable distance of Rubery, Birmingham
  • Procurement qualifications such as CIPS is desirable
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
Project Buyer Position Remuneration
  • Competitive salary
  • Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position.
  • Holiday allowance and pension
