This highly commercial Housing Association based in London is looking to recruit a Carbon Performance and Sustainability Manager.

This role will play a pivotal role in the development of the organisations Decarbonisation Strategy providing a proactive energy data management function and ensuring the energy efficiency modelling system is integrated, streamlined, and fit for purpose.

Reporting to the Head of Decarbonisation, key deliverables include:

  • Support the development and implementation of the Decarbonisation Strategy through proactive energy data management.
  • Oversee the energy efficiency modelling system, ensuring it is effective and produces high-quality data to support strategic priorities.
  • Maintain lead accountability for the accuracy of information in the energy efficiency system, establishing robust monitoring and data management processes.
  • Build a robust understanding of housing stock performance to inform investment modelling and strategic decarbonisation decisions.
  • Foster a performance-oriented culture, setting and monitoring targets, and implementing actions based on performance reviews.
  • Produce strategic performance reports on energy efficiency and decarbonisation, making strategic recommendations for stock utilisation.
  • Prepare bids for funding sources such as Social Housing Decarbonisation and ECO funding.
  • Lead on monitoring and data analysis during decarbonisation programme delivery, ensuring accurate data updates on databases.
  • Evaluate the impact of decarbonisation works on tenant satisfaction and community well-being, communicating findings effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Carbon Performance and Sustainability Manager are:

  • Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of asset systems, asset data management, and integrity.
  • Knowledge of EPC, SAP, and energy efficiency modelling systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and convey complex technical information.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, modelling, and visualisation.
