A position has arisen for a temporary Employee Relations Advisor in Hatfield This is a full-time position for 3 to 4 months.

The position provides a customer focused first line response to the business through the HR helpdesk and is responsible for the delivery of all HR processes relating to the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Employee Relations Manager provide professional advice and guidance to managers on ER issues
  • Support the Employee Relations Manager in the management of more complex ER cases, change management processes
  • Support managers in identifying constructive and business focussed solutions to difficult people issues using the RVC’s Management Toolkit
  • Assist with researching and developing the employment policy framework as required by the Employee Relations Manager and Deputy Director of HR
  • Assist Employee Relations Manager and Deputy Director of HR in the delivery of regular briefings on the development of HR services

To be considered for the position, we are looking for experience of providing HR advice and support to managers, particularly in the areas of redundancy consultations disciplinary, grievance and absence management.

Due to the nature of the role, we require candidates who are available for an immediate start or candidates on very short notice periods.
